Pretty pre unit

This super nicely built 1951 Triumph 5T Speedtwin was built right here in the Netherlands by Ronald from den Helder, And inspired by blogs like "Nostalgia on wheels", "Show and go" and "Missing links" he wanted to build a full on 1960s showbike.
And he has done just that using only the best of period parts, mostly NOS and very rare!
As a base a 1951 front frame was mated to a 1948 tail and smoothed and filled where necessary.
The 500 engine was totally gone through and rebuilt and topped off with some cool goodies like a 4 finned Webco oil cooler that was only made for 1 year back then!
The same company supplied the valvecaps and exhaust collars. And soon there will be a finned timing cover installed!!!

as you can clearly see, the mcm sticker on the fork covers. New Old Stock baby! FC#2 to be exact.

Front and rear 19 inch wheels

Wassell banana tank and rear fender
Superior mufflers and sidestand

and glistening in the sun is a nice coat of oriental blue!
